WinkBeds Mattress Review From Our Expert Testers in 2024
If you’ve stayed at the Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans, the Boon Hotel in Sonoma, or other boutique hotels in the United States, you may have slept on a WinkBeds mattress. Not only are WinkBeds mattresses featured in hotels across the country, but you can also enjoy one in your home.
WinkBeds is an online mattress brand. The company does not have physical stores or showrooms, and the mattress arrives at your door compressed, rolled, and sealed in a box. We’ve personally tested the brand’s three models: the WinkBed, GravityLux, and EcoCloud. Learn more about our firsthand experiences resting on and testing some of the best mattress brands.

Bottom line
WinkBeds offers three distinct models of mattress: the WinkBed, GravityLux, and EcoCloud. The WinkBed and EcoCloud are both hybrid mattresses. The EcoCloud contains natural and recycled materials, a plus for environmentally conscious shoppers, but the WinkBed has four firmness options to accommodate a range of body types, positions, and preferences, while the EcoCloud has only one firmness.
The GravityLux is the brand’s memory foam mattress. It contains a layer of the company’s patented AirCell Memory Foam, a specialty foam designed to be cooler than traditional memory foam. The GravityLux is available in three firmness options.
WinkBeds has a 120-night trial with free returns, but only after an initial trial of at least 30 nights before making the return. If you’re unhappy with the firmness level you chose for your WinkBed or Gravity Lux, you can exchange it for another firmness option for a $49 fee.

Frequently asked questions
We recommend the WinkBed luxury-firm or EcoCloud for most side sleepers, but the best mattress for side sleepers depends on the sleeper’s weight and personal preferences. It should be soft in the shoulder and hip areas to evenly distribute weight and relieve pressure. If you’re a side sleeper, see our other picks for the best mattresses for side sleepers and mattresses that are best for shoulder pain.
Generally, sleepers with back pain should sleep on a medium-firm mattress, but the best mattress depends on your weight and personal preferences. The WinkBed luxury-firm is a medium-firm hybrid mattress with supportive innerspring coils and contouring memory foam, and it may be a good option for those with back pain. See our review of the best mattresses for back pain, and always consult your doctor about the right mattress for chronic back pain or other medical conditions.
WinkBeds mattresses are made in the United States, with factories located in Arizona, Connecticut, Texas, and Wisconsin.
A hybrid mattress typically lasts about seven to 10 years, while a memory foam mattress lasts either three to five years (low-density foam) or eight to 10 years (high-density foam). Mattress longevity depends on the quality of the materials, so it may vary. WinkBeds doesn’t specify exactly how long its mattresses last, but it has a 10-year warranty. The brand recommends rotating your mattress 180 degrees every two weeks for the first three months and then every two months to help extend your mattress’s life.
